Dr. Parimal Vyas is a distinguished academic leader currently serving as the Provost of Auro University, Surat. He previously held the position of Vice Chancellor at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSUB) for over seven years, from December 2014 to February 2022. He has a long academic career, particularly in the fields of Commerce and Business Management, where he has taught and guided numerous research scholars. Dr. Vyas has received many accolades for his research work, including multiple "Best Research Paper" awards, and he has published over 130 papers in national and international forums.

Throughout his career, Dr. Vyas has been recognized for his contributions to improving academic standards and university administration. He was ranked third among the top 20 Vice Chancellors in India in 2020 for his leadership at MSUB. His research has spanned multiple areas in commerce, and he has also led significant projects funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC)​
