Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj

Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj is an Indian journalist, documentary filmmaker, and prominent men's rights activist. She gained attention with her documentary Martyrs of Marriage, which highlighted the misuse of Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code (the anti-dowry law) by brides and their families. Bhardwaj advocates for men's rights, focusing on cases where men have been victims of false accusations, domestic violence, and legal abuse in marriage-related issues.

Her work extends to documentaries such as India's Sons (2021), which delves into false accusations of sexual crimes against men. Through her activism and films, Bhardwaj aims to create awareness about the challenges men face in the current legal framework, while striving for a gender-equitable approach to justice.

She has been featured in various media outlets and speaks publicly about the need to recognize men as potential victims in gender-related legal issues.
